Just like your grandma used to make! Learn two arts for the price of one! Beginners welcome! These hanging planters will make beautiful keepsakes or gifts!
Working with clay and natural fiber, you will learn basic ceramics as well as some simple macrame knots which could be used in the creation of many crafts.
In our first class we will explore hand-building techniques and make our planter pot, discussing functional and design elements that will keep your plant friend happy. In our second class, with a completed planter to work with, we will begin the process of knotting fiber to create a hanging holder.
This two-week course meets from 2 to 6pm on Tuesdays, June 19th and 26th.
