Enjoy the autumn season to the fullest with this plein air painting experience!
In this course we will look at landscape in an immersive new way! Students of all skill levels are welcome for this six-week course focused on developing painting techniques while exploring the beauty of nature. At the end of this class, you will have three or more completed paintings, and the tools and skills you need to find a painting wherever you wander!
Class will meet every Saturday from 10:00am to Noon for six weeks from September 30th to November 4th.
The cost of this class includes two hours of instruction per week for six weeks. Additional costs (TBD) will apply for materials.
Sarah Redhouse Walker is a professional stay-at-home mom and artist who enjoys creating through clay and paint. She grew up in the woods of New Hampshire, where she received an honorary degree in ‘love of nature’ and an official Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from Plymouth State University. She is a member of the Highland Arts Council, and is currently working toward her master’s degree at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville.
