Instructor Bio:

Hi! My name is James Labonte and I will be your guide on your journey to becoming a better photographer. I have been taking professional photographs for over 10 years and if it's one thing I have learned over the years is that we all have a desire to learn new things and to improve.

One way that I continue to educate myself is by teaching others. By teaching others it forces me to stop and think about every little detail that goes into making a great photograph. Many times I have an "a ha" moment when answering a student's question. So I am learning right along with you...

I have been educated by some of the best in the industry, like Lindsay Adler, Scott Kelby, Joe McNally, Lou Freeman, Joel Grimes, James Schmelzer, Craig Lamere, and many more. I belong to which provides continuous online training, and attend many hands on seminars at Shutterfest annually. I am constantly learning new techniques that I want to pass along to you...
