Join instructor, Brandace Cloud, to make a planter, a bird house, a bird feeder, a toad house, and more from slabs of clay.
This six-week beginners' course meets from 6 to 8pm every Thursday from March 8th through April 12th.
The cost of this class includes two hours of studio time per week for six weeks with access to all the equipment and tools in our clay studio, plus in-depth instruction from a professional ceramic artist, as well as the cost of clay, glazes, and kiln firings.

Teachers working for a school in the Regional Office of Education, District #40 can register with the ROE and they will cover your class fees and award you Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs) for taking this class. After filling our The MAC's class registration and indicating that you are a teacher in ROE40, you will need to also register with ROE by following this link to their calendar of events.
Instructor Bio, Brandace Cloud:
Brandace is executive director at The Macoupin Art Collective. She has an Associate of Art degree in Graphic Design from Lewis & Clark Community College, a Bachelor of Art degree from Webster University, and attended post-graduate studies in the ceramics department at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. Brandace has worked as a self-employed ceramic artist, selling her wares at various art fairs and exhibitions. She has years of experience as an art educator, teaching clay classes and workshops for children, adults, and various community organizations.
