Mr. Brian's Woodshop

Description

Every other Saturday from 10am-4pm, The MAC's resident woodworker, Mr. Brian, will show you how to use a hammer, nails, and other common woodshop tools to turn a pile of pre-cut wood into a finished functional piece, like a birdhouse or butterfly house.
Mr. Brian will direct several kid-friendly one-hour workshops throughout the day, and you can stop in at whatever time works for you.
Or Mr. Brian can leave you alone so you can just use our space and materials to work on your own hand-built birdhouse design.

Mr. Brian will direct three one-hour workshops throughout the day, and you can stop in at whatever time works for you.
Workshops will begin at 10:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm.

This activity is designed for people who have minimal experience working in a woodshop. If you want to bring the kiddos, Mr. Brian may ask you to stick around in the shop and help stay safe.
