We are so excited to offer Up to three positions for the summer for a high school friend!
(Ages 16 -18; but not yet started college).
The position is part-time and temporary. We will offer up to 10 hours per week. We will be paying employees $15.00/hour.

Summer Employees will be working both artistically and administratively with a variety of tasks to assist the organization through day to day operations. Each employee will assist with different supervisors on a rotating basis as needs of the organization change. Each of our supervisors provides a unique perspective to the many facets of our arts organization. Each of our four supervisors will have a specific set of responsibilities for our summer employees:
ArtReach Instructor- Stocking materials on the community outreach bus. Supporting the instructor with off-site programming. Returning materials after programming. Transportation will be provided.
Executive Director-Introduction to social media content creation. Creating and scheduling emails and facebook posts. Basic Job training, including timeliness and worksite appropriate behaviors.
Studio manager- Ensure a safe, clean, and well functioning studio for all classes including: preparing and putting away materials, cleaning tools and equipment, and checking supply inventory. Assisting in donation processing for community use, including logging donations, then putting donations in appropriate locations.
Development Coordinator- Assisting with community events, including fundraising and community partnerships. Ensuring accurate attendance, scheduling volunteers for events. Positively representing the organization within the community.

Selection of student employees will be determined by the Executive Director with the assistance of the supervising staff members as well as the Board of Directors. Candidates must show excitement to learn, ability to follow simple instructions, and a positive attitude towards the arts. Location(s): While most activities will occur at the studio at 115 E Main Street, weekly ArtReach will occur at parks, city halls, and libraries within a 40 mile radius, transportation will be provided for these events.

Documentation, Evaluation & Assessment:
Supervisors and summer employees will make weekly goals based on the skills of the employees and the needs of the organization. Monthly evaluations will be administered based on: Attendance and Punctuality, Attitude toward work, Attitude toward co-workers, Completing tasks assigned, quality of work, no Overall Progress. Supervisors and employees will work together to do assessments based on these evaluations.
