Tiny! Potted Plants

Kiddos will use polymer clay to create their very own potted plant.

Potters' Wheel

Up to 8 kiddos can join in to try the potters’ wheel. Each kiddo will have at least one finished pot. Pots will need to be picked up 2 weeks after the party.

Recycle Robots

Kiddos will learn proper safety on how to use hammer, nails, screws and screwdrivers and create a one of a kind Recycled Robot.

Copper Bangle

Kiddo will hammer texture into a copper bangle black then they will form their bracelet.

Paint Pouring

Kiddos will learn the basics of paint pouring and will then try their hand on their very own 8X10 canvas.

Tie Dye

Kiddos need to bring in their very own 100% cotton tshirt, prewashed if possible. Then we will learn how to tie up our shirts and dye them!
Shirts will leave The MAC in a ziplock bag. Shirts will need to be rinsed 24 hours later.

Leather Pouch

Kiddos will learn how to work a bit with leather. We will work through a pattern and add a snap.

Tiny! Fairy Houses

Kiddos will learn through a step-by-step tutorial how to create a tiny fairy house!

Multi-Media Collage

Friends will have their picture taken by the instructor, then printed out on our printer. Kiddos will then use paint and patterned paper to create a one-of-a-kind self portrait.

Watercolor Resists

Kiddos will learn about watercolor and different ways to create with them. Students will then create one large (8”X10”) watercolor painting with oil pastel resists.

Paper Clouds

Kiddos will learn how to make a paper pillow stuffed with fluffing. Ribbons will be attached for a raining artwork.

Messy Paints

Kiddos will use a canvas and acrylic paint to make a messy masterpiece. Kiddos will use their fingers to drag the paint across the canvas to create a rainbow picture.

Fluffy Stuffy

Kiddos will paint a friend on some fabric. Then we will take that fabric and create a functional pillow. Students will learn a basic sewing stitch and will leave with a functional pillow!

Tiny Felt Friends

Kiddos will learn how to create a tiny felt friend. Students will learn how to cut and stitch felt together to create a tiny friend.

Printmaking

Students will learn a technique of printmaking. Friends can be instructed on -what- type of printing plate to make. Or friends can come up with their own ideas of what type of printing plate to make. Students will then learn how to use their plate to make multiple prints of their own. Kiddos can even have their friends print an extra print so everyone can share.

Pinch Pot Monsters - Ceramics

Friends will learn how to pinch out a ball of clay and create a monster friend! Ceramic projects need to stay at the shop and be fired in our kiln. Artworks will be ready for pick up 2 weeks after the party.

Felted Monster

Friends will learn how to NEEDLE felt this tiny monster. We are using wool roving and then using sharp felting needles to attached appendages onto these monsters.

Clay Heads

Kiddos will be able to come to the shop and create a hand-built tiny clay head. Ceramic projects must stay at the shop and get fired. Artworks are available for pick up 2 weeks after the party date.

Crystal Gardens

Kiddos are welcome to make this super bright and beautiful crystal garden. We will use hot glue guns for the majority of this project- older kiddos only

Paint a Bisqware Piece

Friends will get to choose from our LARGE selection of bisque ceramic pieces. Kiddos will get to use our whole glaze library to paint up their ceramic cups/sculptures.

Ceramics must stay at the studio for firing once the party is complete. You may pick up artworks 2 weeks after the party date.

Polymer Clay

Has your kiddo ever wanted to learn about polymer clay? We can set up the party to explain HOW the clay works and then let the kiddos FREE create with the clay!

We can offer your kiddo most ANY type of art party. Think about your kiddo and what experience they have. Do you think they would like to show their friends how they do their favorites craft activity? Or would your kiddo want to explore and try something new?

We will need to check times and days as we have our schedules planned out 6 months in advance.

Parties run $20-25/kiddo. This price includes an instructed art activity (1-1.5 hours) and also allows for time for your party to open presents, and have cake(1 hour) ! You can come in (1/2 hour) before your party time to decorate or set up! Most projects run at the $20/kiddo. For most clay and stained glass we are at the $22/kiddo prices. For metals and clay wheel throwing classes we charge $25/kiddo. Your total time in our studio will be no more than 3 hours.

We need a minimum of 7 students in order to book a party.

Friends will have to pay for 7 kiddos when securing the party date!

Some extra stuff:

We have two rules at The MAC- 1) Don't touch other’s art. 2) Don’t run. Our art parties have to also follow these rules.
You can decorate the space any way you’d like. We have an 8’ table and a 12’ table you can use for the activities. We also have a couple of counter height bars you can use to display presents or cake.
We are not allowing noise makers in our space.
We ask that folks clean up after their own party. Take out food trash. Clean up an litter on the floor from their party.
