Handbuilt Ceramics on The Art Bus

Handbuilt Ceramics:

Handbuilt ceramics has nearly unlimited possibilities and the engagement is not limited to the number of pottery wheels available. 

Coil pinch and use slabs to create tiny animal sculptures, decorative tiles, organically shaped bowls, mugs, rustic birdhouses and more! 

Approximate Project Time:  2 hours

Required Number of Volunteers Per 10 Students: 3 volunteers

Additional Info: Earthenware clay: This clay is food safe. 2 weeks to fire pots, pick-up at the MAC is required. OR Airdry clay: With advanced notice we could acquire airdry clay that can be sent home with students that day, but airdry clay is not food safe.
