Welcome back friends! This week we will be using an absorbent coffee filter, markers, and a pipette to see how water and markers work together to create a watery friend.
Kiddos will be using markers from our previous craft kit, wooden sticks, glue, and googlie eyes and create a super friend!
Our leaves will start to change soon, lets grab a few and print them to capture the beauty of nature. We will be using markers from our Sept 1 kit to make beautiful works of natural art.
This week students will learn to use some common materials to create a super cool functional boat!
Kiddos will receive some liquid watercolor and delicate lace doilies in their kit this week. We will work to create a handsome crown to be worn by kiddo royalty!
It’s Ms. Brandy’s birthday lets celebrate with some clay! Kiddos will be sent home with a hunk of clay! Each kiddo will need to bring their pinch pot back by October 14th to be fired in the kiln!
We will learn how to create a book from a single sheet of paper. We will provide a preprinted paper for kiddos. We will also offer colored pencils in our kits this week.
This week we will lead kiddos on how to cut out triangles from sheets of felt, then use plastic needles and string to create a festive banner!
Kiddos will receive a small tin box as well as some other materials so that kiddos will be able to make friends and a home for that friend!
Kiddos will learn how to make yarn from an old tshirt!
We will use the tshirt yarn we made last week to create a necklace by finger knitting.
Corks! We will be sending home a couple corks and a bunch of do dads to create friends!
Do you have a few extra building blocks? A paper cup? We will be using black paint, a styrofoam plate and our blocks and other gathered materials to create a printed project!
Students will need to save an old food box for this project. We will send home strings and give you instruction on how to make a loom and then use that loom to create all your friends bracelets!
Students will receive acrylic paint and a super sweet wood block to make their very own Christmas tree!
