Illinois Sales Tax

We need artists to pay for their own sales tax on their sales. We will collect money and give you payments via check. Artists are responsible for submitting sales tax to the state of Illinois.

You set your own prices. The MAC takes 30% of sales for a commission. Please acknowledge that you understand and agree.

The Merry MACidays!
(A one of a kind holiday shopping event!)

Four years ago, we decided to rework and expand our annual holiday artist sale into what we now call the Merry MACidays shopping experience. This has gone over so well that we are going to do it again for the 5th year! We are looking for 30-35 artisans to set up for 8 straight days of handmade local art. We are seeking everything from functional and decorative ceramics to handmade soap to jewelry to woodworking to fabric items and so much more at prices $3 and up. Artists will set up their items and we will sell it for them.

The event is being held Saturday November 30 and , December 3-7 . Hours of 11 am to 5 pm each day. The days will be broken down into one-hour private shopping blocks that shoppers will have to sign up for. When they arrive, it will be just one or two employees of the MAC and their bubble shoppers. Also we try to keep everyone to their time, but sometimes friends run over. Saturday November 30 & Saturday December 7 will be open for anyone to come at any time!
